
2026–2028 TRAJECTS Master Scholarships Call
The TRAJECTS programme offers eight fully funded Master scholarships for students pursuing studies at partner universities in South Africa and Colombia from August 2026 to July 2028. This initiative aims to support Master’s students whose research contributes to advancing just transitions in energy, climate, and sustainability, while engaging with the TRAJECTS transnational network.
Scholars will develop research projects aligned with TRAJECTS' objectives, focusing on climate change mitigation, sustainable energy integration, and socio-ecological transitions. The scholarships foster academic exchange and collaboration between the Global South and North.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Have completed undergraduate or bachelor’s studies.
- Have obtained their most recent academic degree no more than six years prior to the application.
- Not hold a master’s degree.
- Be admitted to or be an active student in the first or second semester of one of the participating master’s programmes.
- Demonstrate interest and/or experience in topics related to the TRAJECTS Centre.
Benefits
The scholarship provides a monthly stipend of 1,000 EUR (paid in local currency, subject to exchange rates), access to TRAJECTS workshops, mobility support, and language funding. Tuition fees must be covered by the scholarship holder using the stipend.
