
ADB-Japan Scholarship Program 2026 for Developing Country Students (Fully Funded)
The ADB-Japan Scholarship Program (JSP) offers approximately 150 postgraduate scholarships annually for studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields at participating academic institutions in Japan. This program aims to develop human resources in Asia and the Pacific, contributing to the region's economic and social development.
The scholarship covers full tuition fees, a monthly allowance for living expenses, housing, books, instructional materials, medical insurance, and travel. Additional grants may be available for research-related expenses, making this a comprehensive opportunity for eligible students.
Eligibility
Candidates must be 35 years old or younger, in good health, and hold a bachelor's degree or its equivalent with a superior academic record. Applicants must have gained admission to an approved MA/PhD course at a participating academic institution and are expected to return to their home country upon completion of their studies.
