Africa Climate Collaborative Scholarships 2026/2027 for African Students (Master’s and PhD Available)
The Africa Climate Collaborative initiative aims to empower a new generation of leaders in climate resilience, sustainability, and innovation across Africa. For the 2026/2027 academic year, it offers 50 Master’s scholarships and 12 PhD scholarships for academically strong but financially disadvantaged students. This program focuses on advancing research and innovation that contributes to climate resilience in Africa, covering areas such as sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and environmental conservation.
Eligibility
Applicants must be academically strong and financially disadvantaged students from Africa. Specific eligibility criteria include:
- For Master’s: Must have completed undergraduate studies in an African country, be under 35 years old (up to 40 for refugees and persons with disabilities), and demonstrate leadership experience.
- For PhD: Must have completed both undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Africa, be under 40 years old (up to 45 for refugees and persons with disabilities), and focus on research that contributes to climate resilience.
