African Economic Scholars Program (AESP)
The African Economic Scholars Program (AESP) is designed to cultivate the next generation of policymakers across Africa. Targeting high-potential individuals with strong academic backgrounds and leadership qualities, the program equips participants with the tools and practical exposure necessary for effective policy implementation. This initiative emphasizes a holistic development approach, ensuring scholars gain both technical knowledge and an understanding of their responsibilities in driving sustainable development.
Running over a structured two-month period, the program includes intensive training, mentorship from experienced experts, and opportunities for hands-on experience through internships with partner organizations. Participants will engage in policy research, analysis, and real-world policy-making processes, culminating in a capstone project that allows them to apply their knowledge to actual policy challenges.
