Aga Khan International Scholarship Programme 2018-2019 for Developing Country Students (50% Grant, 50% Loan)
The Aga Khan Foundation offers scholarships for postgraduate studies to outstanding students from select developing countries who lack financial means. The program aims to develop effective scholars and leaders, preparing them for employment within the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis and cover tuition fees and living expenses.
Eligibility
Applicants must be nationals of Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Syria, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Madagascar, or Mozambique. Preference is given to students under 30 years of age. Applicants must reside in a country with local AKF offices and demonstrate genuine financial need.
Benefits
The scholarship covers tuition fees and living expenses, with half of the amount provided as a loan to be repaid after graduation.
