Australian National University Chancellor Scholarships 2026

The Australian National University (ANU) is offering 200 Chancellor’s International Scholarships for 2026, providing tuition fee reductions of 25% to 50% for undergraduate and postgraduate students. This initiative aims to attract high-performing international talent to ANU's Canberra campus, amidst increasing competition among Australian universities for international students.

The scholarship not only reduces tuition costs significantly but also includes guaranteed first-year accommodation for recipients. This financial support is crucial for international students facing high living costs in Australia, making the scholarship a valuable opportunity for those looking to study at a prestigious institution.

International students classified as overseas under Australia’s Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 can apply. Applicants must hold a valid offer of admission to an eligible ANU programme at the undergraduate, postgraduate coursework, or graduate certificate level. Excluded programmes include the Doctor of Medicine and Surgery and the Master of Military and Defence Studies. Students with external sponsorship covering tuition fees are disqualified. No separate application is required; all students applying for admission to ANU will be automatically assessed for the scholarship.

Recipients receive a 25% or 50% reduction in tuition fees for the full duration of their degree. The scholarship does not cover living allowance, health insurance, or travel funding.
