Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev Scholarships 2026 Available to International Students
The Heydar Aliyev International Education Grant Program offers 100 funded scholarships to international students for bachelor's, master's, medical, and doctoral programs at Azerbaijani universities. This initiative aims to strengthen academic ties with developing countries, particularly those in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).
Recipients will benefit from full tuition coverage, travel expenses, medical insurance, and a monthly living stipend. This program not only provides financial support but also promotes educational diplomacy, making it a significant opportunity for students seeking alternatives to traditional Western education pathways.
Eligibility
Open to citizens of OIC member states, NAM member states, Small Island Developing States, and countries with cultural ties to Azerbaijan. Applicants must be under 35 for undergraduate programs, under 40 for master's, and under 45 for doctoral programs. A minimum GPA of 70% and proficiency in the language of instruction are required.
Benefits
Covers full tuition fees, annual round-trip airfare, medical insurance valued at 200 AZN, and a monthly living stipend of 800 AZN for ten months.
