The Barbara Huber Scholarship Program is an academic funding initiative aimed at supporting outstanding researchers from international institutions engaged in innovative projects in Criminology, Public Law, or Criminal Law. Each year, the program allows departments within the institute to award one scholarship, attracting scholars whose work demonstrates academic excellence and the potential to influence legal and criminological scholarship on an international level.
Eligibility
The scholarship is open to exceptional academics affiliated with foreign research institutions, including:
- Doctoral candidates with advanced-stage research projects
- Postdoctoral researchers engaged in independent academic work
- Professors and experienced scholars with established research profiles
Applicants must present original research proposals that contribute to academic progress in the designated subject areas.
Benefits
Monthly financial support:
- EUR 1,650 for doctoral candidates
- EUR 2,700 for postdoctoral researchers
- EUR 3,200 for professors and experienced academics
Supplementary financial support may also be available for conference participation and research activities.
