
Becas Acción Afirmativa Pacífico 2026 for Ethnic Minorities in Colombia (Fully Funded)
The Instituto Caro y Cuervo offers fully funded scholarships covering 100% of tuition fees for four master's programs aimed at professionals with a proven connection to the Colombian Pacific region. This initiative is part of the public policy CONPES 4185 of 2026, which seeks to enhance access to advanced education in one of the country's regions with the greatest educational gaps.
These scholarships are designed to support individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds, including Black, Afro-Colombian, Indigenous, Raizal, or Palenquero populations, who reside in the Pacific region. The program aims to empower these communities through advanced education and cultural development.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Demonstrate ethnic affiliation with Black, Afro-Colombian, Indigenous, Raizal, or Palenquero populations and reside in the Pacific region.
- Have an academic background or experience related to the master's program they are applying for.
- Show motivation and academic projection to contribute to the cultural, educational, and social strengthening of their communities.
- Hold a professional degree and be admitted to the master's program.
Benefits
Covers 100% of tuition fees for up to four academic semesters. Does not include living expenses, transportation, accommodation, or other associated costs.
