Applications are now open for the Berlin University DAAD MIDE Scholarship 2026/27, a fully funded opportunity for students from developing countries who wish to pursue a Master’s degree in Germany. This scholarship supports the Master’s in International and Development Economics (MIDE) at HTW Berlin, designed for graduates interested in economic development and global economic challenges.
The DAAD-funded award provides comprehensive financial support throughout the study period, including a monthly stipend, travel support, health insurance coverage, and additional allowances for accommodation and eligible family members.
Eligibility
Applicants should be citizens of a developing country, hold a recognized bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background, have completed coursework in economics or related subjects, possess at least two years of relevant professional experience after graduation, meet the university’s English language requirements, and have graduated within the last six years.
Benefits
The scholarship includes a monthly stipend of approximately €934, health, accident, and liability insurance coverage, travel allowance, monthly housing support (where applicable), and family allowance for eligible accompanying dependents.
