British Council Women in STEM Scholarship 2026 for Women (Fully Funded)
The 2026 British Council Women in STEM Scholarship is a prestigious program aimed at supporting women from over 28 eligible countries to pursue a one-year master’s degree in the United Kingdom. This scholarship offers a life-changing opportunity for female scholars in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to gain global exposure and advanced academic training.
The scholarship is fully funded, covering full tuition fees, a living stipend, travel costs, and visa/health coverage fees. Notably, an English proficiency test is not required for application, making it more accessible for eligible candidates.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Gender: Must be women.
- Academic Readiness: Must have an undergraduate degree that provides access to pre-selected postgraduate courses at a UK university.
- Financial Status: Must demonstrate a need for financial support.
- Commitment: Must be available to start a course of study in the UK for the September/October 2026–2027 academic year.
- Experience: Should have work experience or a proven interest in their subject area.
- Alumni Engagement: Must be willing to engage as committed British Council scholarship alumni.
