
Canadian Francophonie Scholarship Program 2017 for Developing Countries (Fully Funded)
The Canadian Francophonie Scholarship Program (CFSP) offers scholarships for university education at the Master's and Doctorate levels, as well as technical and vocational training, to nationals from developing countries of La Francophonie. This initiative aims to strengthen institutional capacities by training individuals from 37 eligible countries.
The program is fully funded by the Government of Canada and is managed by the Canadian Bureau for International Education and the World University Service of Canada. Scholarships are renewable annually based on satisfactory academic performance, and they also include short-term internship opportunities.
Eligibility
Applicants must be nationals from developing countries of La Francophonie, fluent in French, and possess sufficient English language skills to read and synthesize documents in their field of study. Eligible countries include Benin, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Egypt, and others. Candidates must also demonstrate basic computer skills.
Benefits
Covers tuition, living expenses, and may include funding for short-term internships.
