
Cowrie Foundation Scholarship 2026 for Undergraduate Students (Fully Funded)
The Cowrie Foundation Scholarship at Imperial College London is a fully funded opportunity aimed at supporting talented undergraduate students from underrepresented backgrounds. This scholarship seeks to eliminate financial barriers and provide access to world-class education in the UK.

Eligibility
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must have an offer to study a full-time undergraduate program (3, 4, or 6 years)
- Must be classified under Home fee status
- Must have a verified household income below £35,000 per year
- Must be assessed through Student Finance England or an equivalent body
- Must belong to one of the eligible ethnic backgrounds:
- Black African
- Black Caribbean
- Mixed White and Black African
- Mixed White and Black Caribbean
- Other mixed Black backgrounds
The scholarship is strictly for new undergraduate students starting in the 2026/2027 academic year and is not open to current students.
Benefits
The scholarship covers full tuition fees and provides an annual maintenance grant of £10,000. Financial support can be combined with other eligible bursaries.
