DAAD GROW Scholarship 2026: Global Research Opportunities for the South
The DAAD Global Research Opportunities for the South (GROW) Scholarship Programme 2026 is designed to empower researchers from the Global South by fostering development-oriented research that addresses pressing global challenges. This program emphasizes collaboration, capacity-building, and real-world impact, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Scholars are encouraged to connect their proposals to at least one SDG, ensuring that their research is both rigorous and relevant.
GROW actively promotes inclusivity by encouraging applications from women and individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, recognizing the importance of diverse perspectives in innovative solutions. With flexible funding options, including Preparatory and Cooperation Visits as well as Research Stays, the program aims to build long-term collaborations rather than short-term gains, making it a strategic opportunity for researchers in the Global South.
