
DAAD Scholarships 2027/2028 for Developing Country Graduates (Fully Funded)
The DAAD scholarships provide an opportunity for foreign graduates from developing and newly industrialized countries to pursue postgraduate or doctoral degrees at state-recognized German universities. This program is designed for individuals with at least two years of professional experience, aiming to enhance their skills and knowledge in various development-related fields.
Scholarship holders will receive monthly stipends, health insurance coverage, and travel allowances, making it a comprehensive support system for students looking to further their education in Germany.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be a national of a country listed on the OECD-DAC list (with some exceptions).
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree (normally four years) in a related subject with above-average results.
- Have at least two years of relevant professional experience.
- For courses in German, provide a current German language certificate (minimum B1 level). For courses in English, proof of adequate language skills is required.
Benefits
Monthly payments of 992 euros for graduates or 1,300 euros for doctoral candidates, health insurance, travel allowance, and potential additional benefits such as rent subsidies.
