The DAAD Scholarships provide funding for international students pursuing PhD programs in Germany. Eligibility
Applicants must have completed a Master's degree within the last six years. Priority is given to students from Sub-Saharan Africa, South and Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Students from EU countries, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan are generally not eligible.
Benefits
Monthly stipend of €1,350 for graduates and €1,500 for those with professional experience, research allowance of €460 per year, travel costs for one return journey to Germany, full health insurance coverage, and family allowance.
