Erasmus+ 2026 for Turkish Students (Study Abroad Opportunity)

Erasmus+ offers Turkish students the chance to study abroad at universities across Europe, providing equal access to funding and opportunities as EU students. This program allows students to gain international experience, enhance their education, and immerse themselves in different cultures.

Turkish students enrolled at universities with an Erasmus charter can apply for mobility grants to study or intern in various European countries. The program not only supports academic growth but also fosters personal development through exposure to diverse environments.

To apply, you must be:

• Enrolled at a Turkish higher education institution (HEI) with an Erasmus charter.
• Meeting the minimum academic standing, typically a GPA of 2.0/4.0 or higher.
• At any level of study (bachelor's, master's, PhD).
• Able to demonstrate language proficiency as required by the host university.

Deadline: Typically February – April for exchanges starting the following September

Monthly grants vary by destination:

• Group 1: ~€700/month (higher cost countries)
• Group 2: ~€500–600/month (medium cost countries)
• Group 3: ~€310–400/month (lower cost countries) Travel allowances are also provided based on distance.
