
FAO Social and Environmental Safeguards Specialist 2026 for Indian Nationals (Short-Term Assignment)
The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is seeking a Social and Environmental Safeguards Specialist for a short-term assignment in New Delhi, India. Eligibility
Applicants must be nationals of India or hold a valid work permit. A Master’s degree in environmental science, ecology, sociology, or related fields is required, along with at least five years of experience in environmental and social safeguards. Proficiency in English (C1 level) is mandatory; knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is an asset.
