Eligibility
To be eligible for the Federal Government BEA Scholarship in 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen with a valid Nigerian passport.
- For undergraduate scholarships: a minimum of five O’Level credits (including English Language and Mathematics) and a strong JAMB score.
- For postgraduate scholarships: a first degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) from an accredited institution.
- Age limit: Undergraduates must be below 25 years; postgraduates must be below 35 years.
- Must undergo a medical examination and be certified fit.
- Language proficiency may be required for non-English speaking countries.
- No existing foreign scholarship.
