
Government of Montserrat Launches Digital Scholarship Portal as 2026/27 Applications Open
The Government of Montserrat has launched a new online scholarship application portal for the 2026/27 academic year, aimed at improving accessibility and streamlining the application process. This initiative allows all applicants, including government employees, to submit their applications digitally, replacing previous manual methods.
The scholarship program offers full scholarships covering tuition, travel, accommodation, meals, and learning materials, as well as partial scholarships and bursaries for various educational needs. This effort is part of a broader strategy to modernize public services and enhance educational opportunities aligned with national development priorities.
Eligibility
Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of Montserrat and must be enrolled in, or have received acceptance to, an accredited academic programme.
Benefits
Full scholarships cover major expenses including tuition, travel, accommodation, meals, and learning materials. Partial scholarships provide targeted assistance up to $39,000, while bursaries up to $15,000 support limited educational needs.
