Government of Slovak Republic National Scholarship Program 2026 for International Students (Fully Funded)
The Government of Slovak Republic National Scholarship Program 2026 is now accepting applications from international students pursuing Master’s and PhD programs. This fully funded opportunity offers monthly financial support of up to €1,470, enabling students to focus on their academic and research goals while studying in Slovakia.
Supported by the Slovak Republic’s Ministry of Education, this initiative promotes global educational collaboration and aims to assist talented individuals. The scholarship covers living expenses, allowing recipients to gain valuable international experience and advance their education and careers.
Eligibility
Applicants must be citizens of countries other than Slovakia. Eligible candidates include:
- Students attending a university outside of Slovakia pursuing a master’s degree or those with at least 2.5 years of university education in a relevant field.
- PhD candidates must conduct research or study outside of Slovakia and be accepted into a Slovak university or research center.
- Teachers, researchers, and artists are also invited for academic or research purposes. Language proficiency in English, French, Slovak, or Spanish is required.

The scholarship includes a monthly allowance (between €620 and €1,470), accommodation, and assistance with travel costs.
