iNNO SED Summer School 2026 Program in Hungary | Fully Funded
The iNNO SED Summer School 2026 is a unique program in Hungary that brings together emerging scientists, young professionals, and advanced students to deepen their understanding of river flows, sediment transport, hydro morphology, and innovative sediment management approaches. This summer school focuses on turning sediment science into action for healthier, more resilient rivers, offering expert lectures, hands-on sessions, and field visits.
Participants will learn how sediment affects river health and how innovative solutions can improve ecosystems. The program is organized by GWP CEE and Budapest University of Technology and Economics, building on the success of previous years to address river sustainability challenges.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants include MSc and PhD students in hydrology, environmental science, water resource management, geomorphology, civil and environmental engineering, ecology, policy, social sciences, and related fields. Young professionals with up to 5 years of experience working on water, rivers, sediment, climate resilience, or catchment management are also eligible. All applicants must be fluent in English.
