The International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) offers young graduates from around the world a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in parliamentary democracy. This fully funded, five-month program in Berlin combines academic learning with practical parliamentary experience, allowing participants to engage deeply with democratic systems and build essential leadership skills.
With support from leading Berlin universities, the IPS promotes democratic values, strengthens international cooperation, and fosters intercultural understanding. Participants will not only learn about parliamentary processes but also contribute actively to the democratic future of their home countries.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be citizens of a participating country
- Be under 30 years old at the start of the program
- Have completed a university degree (Bachelor’s or higher)
- Demonstrate a strong interest in politics and social issues
- Show social or political engagement
- Have proficiency in German at a minimum B2 level.
