
Japan Africa Dream Scholarship 2026/27 for African Students (Fully Funded)
The Japan Africa Dream Scholarship (JADS) Program offers high-achieving African students a fully-funded opportunity to pursue postgraduate studies at master's level in Japan. This two-year scholarship covers tuition fees, living stipends, and travel expenses, enabling students to focus on their academic and professional development.
Eligible candidates must have a strong academic background and relevant professional experience, demonstrating their commitment to supporting their countries' development efforts. This program not only provides financial support but also fosters international collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as energy, agriculture, health, environmental sustainability, or engineering.
- Have at least 1 year of paid employment in their home country or other African countries within the past 3 years.
- Be 35 years old or younger and in good health.
- Gain admission to an approved master's degree course at a Japanese or African partner university.
- Be a citizen of one of the African Development Bank’s regional member countries.
