Eligibility

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Hold citizenship of a country with diplomatic relations with Japan.
  • Be born on or after 2 April 1992.
  • Have completed 16 years of formal education or hold a bachelor’s degree equivalent programme of at least 3 years.
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn Japanese and adapt to life in Japan.
  • Confirm strong physical and mental health with a medical certificate.
