The Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) 2026 is a prestigious fully funded opportunity for professionals from developing countries to pursue a master’s degree in development-related fields. Eligibility

Applicants must be citizens of World Bank member developing countries and should not hold dual citizenship with any developed country. They must have a bachelor’s degree earned at least 3 years before the application deadline and at least 3 years of paid development-related work experience. Candidates must also be employed full-time in development-related work at the time of application and must be unconditionally admitted to at least one participating master’s program located outside their home country.
