Launch of the Observatory on Artificial Intelligence in Education for Latin America and the Caribbean
UNESCO is hosting the launch of the Observatory on Artificial Intelligence in Education for Latin America and the Caribbean on 14 April 2026. This event aims to establish a regional platform that supports the integration of artificial intelligence into education systems across the region. It will serve as a space for cooperation, knowledge sharing, and policy guidance in response to the growing role of AI in education.
The Observatory will facilitate collaboration among various stakeholders, including Ministries of Education, universities, and civil society, to promote innovative practices and public policies that leverage AI for educational improvement. This initiative is crucial for ensuring that AI enhances educational equity and quality in line with the 2030 Agenda.
Eligibility
This event is open to all interested stakeholders in the education sector, including government officials, educators, researchers, and representatives from civil society and the technology sector within Latin America and the Caribbean.
