LCEL Luxembourg Scholarship 2026 for International Students (Partial Funding)
The LCEL Early Career Scholars Visiting Programme 2026 offers a unique research opportunity for scholars in European Union law and related fields. This programme provides selected scholars with up to €1,800 per month for a short-term research stay in Luxembourg, along with access to academic resources and networking opportunities.
Designed for advanced PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career faculty, this programme supports high-level legal research from September to December 2026, fostering academic growth and collaboration within the European legal research community.
Eligibility
Open to international applicants from all countries, excluding those already residing in Luxembourg. Applicants must be advanced PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, or early-career faculty conducting research in EU law or related disciplines. Proficiency in English and a well-defined research project are required.
Benefits
Up to €1,800 per month for living expenses, possible accommodation reimbursement up to €1,200 for one month.
