Legislative Review Competition 2026 for Law Students (Interdisciplinary Dialogue)

Maharashtra National Law University, MumbaiGlobalDeadline: Posted

The Legislative Review Competition 2026 invites law students to critically analyze legislations enacted between 2024 and 2026 in the Global South. Participants will explore the intent, enforcement, and socio-political impact of these legislations, particularly on marginalized communities. This initiative fosters interdisciplinary dialogue at the intersection of law, humanities, and social sciences, encouraging rigorous legal research and reform-oriented scholarship.

With a focus on democratic accountability in lawmaking, the competition aims to interrogate dominant narratives and foreground Global South perspectives. Participants will have the opportunity to submit original work and compete for cash prizes, with top submissions considered for publication in the LHSS Journal.

Eligibility

Open to law students and researchers from the Global South. Participants can register as single authors or co-authors (maximum of 2).
