Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be from Sub-Saharan Africa and face financial constraints.
  • Belong to specific groups such as refugees, Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), or young people with disabilities.
  • Be 35 years or younger (or under 40 for certain groups) at the application deadline.
  • Have completed undergraduate education in an African country and not hold any prior master's degree.
  • Show engagement in leadership and/or community service.
  • Apply for admission to Makerere University’s Main Campus for the 2026/2027 academic year.
