The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at McGill University offers a transformative opportunity for talented young African leaders to pursue fully funded master’s studies in Canada. This prestigious program supports outstanding African students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and a commitment to community service, empowering them to become agents of change in sectors such as public health, nutrition, and sustainable agriculture.
Each year, approximately 35 fully funded scholarships are awarded across 13 eligible graduate programs, covering all major educational and living expenses while providing leadership development opportunities and access to a leading academic community.
Eligibility
This program is open to talented young African leaders who have demonstrated academic excellence and a commitment to community service. Applicants must be pursuing eligible master's programs at McGill University.
