
National Project Officer 2026 for Indian Nationals (Research and Development at UNESCO)
UNESCO is seeking a National Project Officer for Research and Development based in New Delhi. This project-based appointment focuses on programme coordination and research innovation within the Education Sector, particularly in social emotional learning (SEL). The role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to global education transformation through research and innovation.
The position is hosted at the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP), which plays a leading role in advancing education aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 4.7, focusing on peace, sustainability, and global citizenship.
Eligibility
Applicants must be Indian nationals with an advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, Science of Learning, or related fields. A minimum of four years of progressive experience in research programme design and development is required. Proficiency in English and a good working knowledge of Hindi are essential.
Benefits
