National Scholarship Program 2026
The National Scholarship Program (NSP) 2026 offers a unique opportunity for international students, university teachers, researchers, and artists to study or conduct research in Slovakia on a fully funded basis. This program covers living expenses, including accommodation and food, as well as a travel allowance based on the distance from the home country to Slovakia.
The NSP aims to support candidates pursuing higher studies or research in Slovakia. The scholarship is available for a duration of 1 to 10 months, depending on the candidate’s study or research needs, and is open to all international students.
Eligibility
Open to all international students from any country. Must be Master’s level students or have completed at least 2.5 years of university studies in the same program.
Benefits
Includes monthly stipend, accommodation, food, and travel allowance (amount varies by distance and category). Monthly stipends are €650 for university students, €1,025.50 for PhD students, and €734 to €1,050 for teachers/researchers/artists depending on experience. Travel allowance ranges from €50 to €1500 based on distance.
