New Zealand Excellence Awards for Indian Students

The New Zealand Excellence Awards were a scholarship initiative aimed at Indian students wishing to study at New Zealand's top universities. This program provided financial support and access to globally ranked institutions, focusing on practical skills and employability. Unfortunately, the initiative has been discontinued and will not continue in the current or next financial year.

The scholarship aimed to promote access to quality education, encouraging students to gain practical exposure through internships and work-based projects alongside their academic studies. It was designed to support students in developing technical knowledge and practical skills that enhance employability.

Indian citizens aged 18 years and above who are residing in India at the time of application. Applicants must hold an unconditional offer for an eligible course and meet the visa requirements set by Immigration New Zealand. Candidates with citizenship or permanent residency of New Zealand or Australia are not eligible.
