The NIPES Prof Yun-Fei Fu Scholarship Program offers a ₦1,000,000 scholarship to support aspiring engineers, scientists, medical doctors, pharmacists, and students in related fields. This initiative aims to nurture talent and promote inclusivity in science and engineering professions.
The scholarship is primarily focused on Nigerian students enrolled in accredited institutions, but it is also open to students worldwide studying relevant courses. Each of the five selected recipients will receive ₦200,000 for one academic year, along with opportunities for mentorship and participation in NIPES events.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited higher institution.
- Be studying a science or engineering-related course.
- Be in 100-level or above.
- Complete at least two free NIPES online courses and explain the skills learned in their personal statement.
- Provide proof of enrollment and student ID.
- NIPES student members will receive priority consideration.
Benefits
Total scholarship pool: ₦1,000,000. Each recipient receives ₦200,000 for one academic year.
