The Poland Government Stefan Banach NAWA Scholarship aims to support the socio-economic development of developing countries by enhancing the education and skill levels of their citizens. This fully funded scholarship offers opportunities for second-cycle (Master’s) studies in Poland, available in both Polish and English. It includes a tuition waiver, travel support, language training, and a monthly stipend of PLN 2,500.

This initiative merges the Stefan Banach and Łukasiewicz scholarship schemes, providing a comprehensive opportunity for young individuals from eligible developing countries to pursue higher education in Poland. The program is designed to promote global knowledge exchange and equip scholars with valuable academic and professional skills that contribute to the growth and development of their home countries.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be citizens of one of the eligible developing countries (e.g., India, Nigeria, Kenya, etc.)
  • Not hold Polish citizenship and must not have applied for it
  • Plan to begin a Master’s program in the 2026/2027 academic session
  • Have obtained a first-degree (Bachelor’s) no earlier than 2024, or be in the final semester and graduate by July 15, 2026
  • Not previously obtained a Master’s degree
  • Not have previously received a NAWA scholarship for second-cycle studies.
