
PTDF In-Country Scholarship 2026/27 for Nigerian Students (Fully Funded)
The PTDF 2026/27 In-Country Scholarship Scheme (ISS) is a fully funded scholarship program by the Federal Government of Nigeria aimed at developing local capacity in oil and gas, energy, and related fields. This scholarship supports undergraduate, MSc, and PhD students studying in Nigerian public universities only. It focuses on academic excellence, research impact, and national development, ensuring beneficiaries gain the knowledge and skills needed to strengthen Nigeria’s energy sector.
This scholarship is ideal for Nigerian students currently studying or admitted into public universities who want fully funded education in oil, gas, energy, and management-related fields. Eligibility
- Must be a Nigerian citizen with a valid National Identity Number (NIN)
- Must be studying or admitted into a Nigerian public university
- Undergraduate applicants must be in 200 level with completed first-year results
- Minimum CGPA of 2.4/5.0 for undergraduate applicants
- MSc applicants must have a minimum of Second Class Lower (2:2)
- PhD applicants must have a relevant Master’s degree with at least Merit
- Must have WAEC/NECO/SSCE results with at least 5 credits, including English and Mathematics
- Must not be a current beneficiary of another scholarship
- Must have a valid admission letter into a relevant program
- Course of study must be related to oil, gas, energy, or management fields.
