The PTDF In-Country Scholarship 2026 is a Federal Government-funded initiative aimed at developing local capacity in petroleum technology. It supports undergraduate and postgraduate students pursuing studies in accredited Nigerian universities, particularly in energy-related disciplines. This scholarship provides financial assistance and academic support to help students succeed in the oil and gas industry.
Successful applicants will receive up to ₦700,000 per year, along with a laptop and additional academic support throughout their studies.
Eligibility
Applicants must be Nigerian citizens.
Postgraduate Applicants:
- Full-time admission into a Federal University in Nigeria.
- Minimum of Second-Class Lower (2.2) in a relevant field.
- At least 5 O’Level credits including English and Mathematics.
Undergraduate Applicants:
- Full-time students in 200 level at a Federal University in Nigeria.
- Study a course related to the oil and gas industry.
- Minimum CGPA of 3.0.
