RAVE Scholarship 2027 for Cultural Heritage Professionals (Fully Funded)
The RAVE Scholarship 2027 offers cultural heritage professionals from developing countries the opportunity to gain international experience in Germany. Funded by the Alexander Rave Foundation and administered by the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (ifa), this fully funded scholarship supports a professional stay of 3 to 6 months in a German host institution. It aims to enhance expertise in cultural heritage management, museum practices, and archival science through a comprehensive funding package.
Eligibility
Applicants must be nationals of a country on the OECD-DAC list, working in cultural heritage, and hold positions such as curator, restorer, cultural mediator, or cultural manager. A completed higher education or professional training in a relevant field is required, along with a very good command of English. Applicants must identify a non-commercial host institution in Germany and develop a project concept note with them.
Benefits
The scholarship includes a monthly allowance of €1,500, coverage of travel expenses, visa fees, health insurance, a public transport pass, funding for language courses up to €500, and family allowances.
