Romania Scholarships 2026/2027 for Indian Students (Cultural Exchange)

The Government of Romania is offering scholarship opportunities for Indian students for the academic year 2026-27 under a Cultural Exchange programme. This initiative includes scholarships for Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD levels, as well as short-term research opportunities and summer courses focused on Romanian culture and civilization.

These scholarships cover tuition and enrollment fees, accommodation in student dormitories, a monthly stipend, and medical assistance in emergencies. The programmes are primarily aimed at academic exchange rather than full-time degree studies, with language requirements for applicants.

Indian students applying for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes must submit a valid Romanian language certificate. Candidates from SC, ST, NC-OBC, PwD, and EWS categories, as well as female and transgender candidates, are encouraged to apply and may receive additional weightage in the selection process.
