The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation Scholarship 2026 in Germany is a fully funded program designed for international doctoral candidates who wish to pursue their dissertation or conduct research in Germany. The foundation, closely affiliated with DIE LINKE (The Left Party) in Germany, supports students from various disciplines (excluding medical fields) who are committed to democratic socialism. • Must be enrolled at a state or state-recognized higher education institution in Germany or abroad.
• Supervision by a university lecturer in Germany is required.
• Applicants should possess a very good graduate degree and demonstrate social engagement in line with the foundation's values.
• Proficiency in German at a B2 level is mandatory (proof required).
• Candidates must not have been in Germany for more than 15 months at the time of application.
