The TAGDev 2.0 Scholarship Program 2026–2027 is a fully funded initiative aimed at enhancing Africa’s potential for agricultural innovation, education, and development. It supports postgraduate studies in agriculture, rural development, agribusiness, and food security at twelve African institutions. This program is designed to produce qualified professionals who can improve the quality of life for rural populations and transform Africa’s agricultural systems.
With a focus on inclusive access and leadership development, TAGDev 2.0 is recognized as a revolutionary scholarship program in African higher education. It strengthens agricultural education systems, enhances food security, and expands opportunities for students from marginalized backgrounds, fostering a strong network of future agricultural leaders across Africa.
Eligibility
- Must be a citizen of Africa or meet residency conditions set by participating universities.
- Must apply to one of the cooperating partner universities.
- Must meet the program’s academic entry standards.
- Should demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to community impact.
Priority groups include:
- Women
- Internally displaced people and refugees
- Individuals with disabilities
- Students from underprivileged or marginalized communities
