SLE Postgraduate Programme 2026 for Young Professionals (Fully Funded, €1,300 Monthly Stipend)
The SLE Postgraduate Programme offers a unique opportunity for Master's graduates to launch a high-impact career in international cooperation. This fully funded 12-month program focuses on 'International Cooperation for Sustainable Development' and includes an intensive course phase in Berlin followed by a practical research phase in partner countries worldwide.
With over 60 years of tradition, the program equips 20 dedicated young professionals each year with essential analytical, methodological, and communication skills to tackle global challenges. Participants will benefit from extensive networking, professional coaching, and career entry support.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Hold a completed Master’s, Diplom, or equivalent degree with good to excellent grades in a relevant discipline (e.g., geosciences, agriculture, environmental sciences).
- Be proficient in English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Be citizens of EU member states or ODA recipient countries.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in development cooperation through relevant experience.
- Be health suitable for a 3-month stay in countries of the Global South.
Benefits
