
South African Nursery Association (SANA) Bursaries 2026
The South African Nursery Association (SANA) invites South African students to apply for its Bursary Programme for the 2026 academic year. This bursary is aimed at students pursuing studies in horticulture and landscaping, supporting those passionate about the green industry and looking to build careers in horticulture and environmental fields.
Successful bursary recipients will not only receive financial support for their tuition fees but also gain free SANA membership, which includes access to industry newsletters, digital magazines, and networking opportunities within the nursery industry.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must have completed Matric
- Must be studying towards a Horticulture or Landscaping qualification
- Preferably studying at undergraduate level
- Must have completed all modules of the first academic year
- Must have achieved a minimum average of 60% per subject
- Must be registered for 2026 studies at a recognised South African institution
- Must be a SANA student member or apply for membership (free)
Benefits
The bursary will cover tuition fees only, paid directly to the institution. It does not cover outstanding fees, accommodation, books, travel, or registration costs.
