Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship 2026
The Stipendium Hungaricum is the flagship scholarship programme of the Hungarian Government, designed for international students from over 100 partner countries. Eligibility
Open to citizens of 100+ partner countries. Applicants must meet specific educational requirements based on the programme level:
- Bachelor's: High school diploma/equivalent
- Master's: Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Doctoral: Master's degree
All BA and MA students must complete a mandatory 2-semester Hungarian language course.
Benefits
Covers full tuition, accommodation (dormitory or housing contribution), and a monthly stipend of approximately HUF 43,700 (~EUR 110) for Bachelor's and Master's students. Doctoral students receive a higher stipend of HUF 140,000-180,000 (~EUR 355-460).
