UBC Public Scholars Award
The UBC Public Scholars Award is a prestigious opportunity for PhD students who aim to make a real-world impact through their research. Eligibility
To be eligible for the UBC Public Scholars Award, applicants must:
- Be enrolled in a doctoral program (PhD, EdD, or DMA) at UBC.
- Be in Year 1 to Year 5 of their program.
- Have completed less than 48 months of doctoral study.
- Be registered by September 2025.
International students from all countries are welcome to apply.
Benefits
The award offers up to $10,000 per year, renewable for a total of up to $20,000. Funding can be used for research projects, travel, fieldwork, and professional development.
