The UI GREAT Scholarship 2026 offers a fully funded opportunity for international students to pursue a master’s degree at Universitas Indonesia in Indonesia. This scholarship provides comprehensive financial support, including tuition waivers, monthly living allowances, and travel costs, enabling scholars to focus on their studies in a culturally rich environment.

Universitas Indonesia (UI) is a prestigious public university and one of the oldest higher education institutions in Indonesia. Ranked first nationally and 237th globally in the 2024 QS World Universities Ranking, UI offers a wide array of master’s programs across numerous faculties, providing a high-quality academic experience for international scholars.

• Be a non-Indonesian citizen applying for a master’s degree at Universitas Indonesia.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree that qualifies for admission to a master’s programme.
• Not already hold a master’s degree.
• Provide recommendations from two referees for the application, at least 1 (one) academic referee and 1 (one) professional referee, OR 2 (two) academic referees.
• Must be proficient in English or Indonesian, depending on their chosen program.

• Tuition Fee Waiver for the master’s degree program, valid for up to a maximum of 4 semesters.
• Free student visa application, KITAS, and stay permit processing.
• Return economy class airfare reimbursement, up to a maximum of IDR 10.000.000.
• One-time settlement cost allowance of IDR 1,500,000.
• Health insurance coverage during the study period.
• Monthly living allowance of IDR 3,500,000.
