UNDP AgriTech Incubation Programme 2026 for African Startups (Support for Innovation)
The UNDP is inviting applications for its Pan-African AgriTech incubation programme under the timbuktoo initiative, aimed at supporting early-stage and growth-stage AgriTech startups across Africa. This initiative seeks to transform the agricultural sector by providing structured support, mentorship, and access to a continental innovation network.
Startups will benefit from incubation support, technical expertise, and investment readiness assistance, helping them to refine their business models and scale effectively. The programme emphasizes solutions that address key challenges in agriculture, such as climate change, market access, and supply chain inefficiencies.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants must be AgriTech startups based in Africa or focused on African agricultural systems. They should have a working prototype or Minimum Viable Product (MVP), a committed founding team, and address a defined challenge within the agricultural value chain. Special consideration is given to startups led by women, young entrepreneurs, and those in underserved communities.
