UNDP Young Professional Opportunity 2026 for Indian Nationals (Monthly Allowance Provided)
The UNDP Young Professional – Inclusive Value Chains opportunity in India offers a unique career pathway for individuals passionate about sustainable development and economic empowerment. This 12-month full-time role places you at the forefront of initiatives that support marginalized communities, particularly women and rural populations. As part of the Market-Led Inclusive Value Chain Development Programme, you will contribute to Sustainable Development Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities.
Participants will engage in program coordination, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge management, while receiving a comprehensive support package that includes a monthly allowance and various benefits.
Eligibility
Candidates must be nationals or legal residents of India with a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Rural Development, Economics, or Social Sciences. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in development programs is required. Strong communication skills and proficiency in English are essential, while knowledge of Hindi is desirable.

Participants receive a monthly allowance of INR 56,126.69, entry lump sum of USD 350, relocation support of USD 175 (if applicable), exit allowance of USD 120 per month served, health and life insurance coverage, and access to UN training resources.
