The UNESCO Youth Hackathon 2026 invites young changemakers aged 18-30 from around the world to design innovative solutions for Media and Information Literacy (MIL). This event empowers youth to collaborate, showcase their creativity, and contribute to advancing MIL globally. Winning teams will be invited to present their projects at the Voices European Festival of Journalism and Media Freedom in Thessaloniki, Greece, from 26–28 November 2026.
Eligibility
Open to global youth aged 18-30. Teams of 2-6 members are encouraged to participate, with a focus on gender balance and inclusion. No prior experience is required, only passion and motivation.
